Drones & AI LABs Project:
The Drones & AI LABs international project was created at the end of 2020. with the signing of a memorandum between the United Drone Society Association, the Artificial Intelligence Cluster and the Emerging Technologies Integration Cluster.
The mission of Drones & AI LABs is the creation of an effective, sustainable and highly conductive communication environment, favoring the easy exchange of information, the development of strategic partnerships and the implementation of joint multidisciplinary projects in the field of drones, artificial intelligence and their combination with other technologies. Currently, the partner network includes over 50 organizations from academia, business, state administration and local self-government.
The goals of the project are:
– the implementation of common projects and initiatives that imply association and a joint work process;
– the promotion and interdisciplinary awareness of the potential opportunities and possible risks in the integration and exploitation of drones and artificial intelligence alone or in their combination with other technologies.
– development of the country’s human capital with participation in initiatives to increase the knowledge and skills of young and active citizens of Bulgaria and striving to create an environment to stimulate their creativity and entrepreneurship;
– joint holding and mutual participation in various forums, conferences, seminars, round tables, trainings, workshops, programs and festivals aimed at developing and popularizing policies, strategies, good practices and ethical codes related to measures and instruments for regional, national and international economic and social development in the field of drone integration, artificial intelligence and related aspects.
