Inter Drone Expo brings together leading companies, bold innovators and startups at Inter Expo Center
Drones, digitalization, AI and unmanned technologies mark life today and shape everyday life. Therefore, whether you have a business interest or are an amateur, it is important to keep up with new technologies. And today we will tell you about the Inter Drone Expo exhibition, which will be held from October 6 to 9 in Sofia. The venue will be Inter Expo Center.
An interesting fact is that this is the first event in the Balkans for drones, digitalization, AI and unmanned technologies for industrial and commercial use. This year, the exhibition will open its doors for the 5th time, meeting us with established and new Bulgarian and foreign brands, innovators and bold experimenters. Inter Drone Expo will be held together with the industrial exhibition MachTech&InnoTech. The bold exhibition mix attracted over 16,000 people to Sofia last year.

In logistics, urban mobility, industrial processes, agriculture, security and fire safety, construction, architecture, mapping, tourism, film industry, archaeology, etc. Drones, AI and unmanned technologies are an increasingly important factor in each of the listed areas.
At Inter Drone Expo we find small aircraft, components, parts, software, aerospace solutions. In the halls we meet manufacturers of drones, anti-drone and ground systems. Software, of course, is also under the “spotlights”. The exhibition opens wide doors for manufacturers and suppliers of components, engines, sensors, video surveillance, infrared cameras, batteries, BIM and 3D mapping solutions. If you want to find suppliers of parts, GPS and new geospatial solutions, then it is certainly good to be at Inter Drone Expo 2026.
Drones for heavy loads and long flights, compact and light machines for large areas in urban areas, aerial inspection cameras, drones with obstacle avoidance systems, devices with thermal cameras for night operations, rescue missions and critical infrastructure in conditions of dust, rain and low temperatures, photogrammetry solutions – important in monitoring in construction and renovation, marketing and creating compelling content. We found all of them in the last edition.

What happened at the last edition?

The event was welcomed with a special demo zone and was organized by TLL Media, United Drone Community Association and Inter Expo Center.
At Inter Drone Expo, we answered key questions such as “How is artificial intelligence integrated into drone technologies?”, “How do drones help in the fight against hail and forest fires?”, “How can drones be implemented in Emergency Services?”, etc.
Unmanned aviation was the focus of the Inter Drone Expo Expert Forum, implemented by BAIA.
